AI-assisted market thesis stress-testing for oil & energy markets.
DOUTE is an independent AI-assisted research tool designed to challenge an existing market thesis rather than generate another prediction.
It decomposes a thesis, searches for supporting and opposing evidence, surfaces hidden assumptions and blind spots, and identifies the conditions that could prove the thesis wrong.

From research to product
DOUTE grew out of my MBA research into advanced analytics and AI in oil and gas trading.
Working with complex enterprise digital systems made me curious about how technology could help people make better decisions. The research turned that interest into a practical question:
How can technology help decision-makers challenge their own assumptions before acting on them?
I developed the concept, evaluated the approach and independently built DOUTE as a functional prototype.

Praxis Fontaine
A professional digital presence for a psychotherapy practice in Graz.
When my sister opened her psychotherapy practice, she needed a professional website that reflected her work and made it easy for potential clients to understand her approach and get in touch. She gave me the brief, and I took the project from requirements and design through development, deployment and launch.

The brief
A new practice needed a professional online presence.
The website needed to communicate trust, explain the therapeutic approach, present services and practical information, answer common questions and make contact simple. For potential psychotherapy clients, the experience had to feel calm, clear, accessible and human from launch.

A calm, clear and user-focused website.
I translated the client's professional identity and requirements into a structured experience spanning Startseite, Über mich, Angebot, Häufige Fragen, Kontakt, Impressum and Datenschutz. The result helps visitors understand who she is, what she offers and how to reach the practice.

I’m Ismael Fontaine, a technology professional based in Vienna with nearly five years of experience working across complex enterprise systems.
Technology has always fascinated me. Not only how it works, but what becomes possible when it is applied to real problems. I’m naturally curious about new technologies, innovation and the ideas shaping how we will work, learn and make decisions in the future.
That curiosity has taken me beyond my professional work. Through my MBA, I explored digital transformation and AI, researched the use of artificial intelligence in energy trading and eventually started turning my own ideas into real products. Building DOUTE and Nooria showed me how much I enjoy taking an initial question and developing it into something people can actually use.
I don’t come from a traditional software engineering background. I learned to build because I wanted to bring ideas to life. Along the way, I became increasingly interested in technology, product thinking, strategy and continuous learning.
Today, I’m particularly interested in AI, emerging technologies, digital products, enterprise systems, energy and innovation. I’m drawn to ambitious environments where new ideas are taken seriously and technology is used to create meaningful change.
